AAP is increasingly recognised as a cornerstone of quality programming, helping organisations build trust, reduce the risk of unintended harm, and ensure that affected populations are actively involved in decisions that impact their lives.  

This one-day training introduces the key principles and practical tools of Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) for professionals managing humanitarian and/or development projects. This will allow participants to understand the transversal themes better and the necessity of their inclusion in project programming.  

Participants will explore approaches to strengthening participation, gender equality, disability inclusion, accountability, complaint & feedback mechanisms, and the Do No Harm principle to ensure that affected populations have a meaningful voice in programmes that concern them.
